LEEDS & SON FINE JEWELERS
Riki Stein’s parents opened Leeds Jewelers in Indio in 1947. She joined the family business along with her brother, Terry Weiner, in 1974 after finishing her master’s degree in psychology at Boston University. Stein says she missed the warmth of the desert and moved back. That’s when she decided to study the intricacies of diamonds, stones, and pearls at the Gemological Institute of America. Stein attributes her lifelong love of style to her mom. “She taught me to have fun with fashion and to never shy away from accessorizing.”
Treat all your customers as if they were guests in your home. Having been in business for going on 70 years, we’ve had the joy of sharing in the milestone celebrations of multiple generations of family. I love fashion and what is trending now. We live in an everchanging world, and I think our clients appreciate finding new and unusual pieces and getting help to put them together.
